Equipped to Minister course

What is Holy Spirit ministry?

How can we pray effectively for people?

Over the last few years of my Christian life, I have come to see that praying for people through the power and inspiration of the Holy Spirit is the greatest way we have to put our contemporaries in touch with the transforming power of the living God. Such prayer is based on the authority of the name of Jesus and the power of his death to bring about wholeness and healing.

This prayer invites the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of the Word of God. It is solely dependent upon God and has a strong prophetic element.

Kay Harvey, the Leader of Pastoral Ministries, will be running this two-evening course – Wednesday 31 October and 7 November – designed to equip every member of the body of Christ to pray for people in the power of the Spirit and obey Jesus command to heal the sick, speak good news to the poor, to drive out impure Spirits using the authority that he has delegated to us.

I want to raise up an army who want to do the stuff that Jesus did both inside the church and outside. Anybody who knows and loves Jesus and has a desire to pray for people can do this!

John Wimber defined this kind of ministry as ‘meeting the needs of others with the resources of God’. Wonderfully, this type of ministry is now available to you and me. This is an opportunity to restate a model of ministry that helps people encounter God.

We would love to see you all here.
